> DAY 1: Madrid

Welcome to Spain, a land that offers Moorish palaces, Gothic cathedrals, Roman Aqueducts, modern artwork, delicious food and wine, fertile planes, crystal clear seas and soaring mountains all in one amazing country! Upon arrival at the Madrid airport you will be met by your private driver and transfer to your luxury hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to rest or explore the beauty of this monumental city. Ask your Leisure Travel Consultant for some of their restaurants, cafes and bars.

> DAY 2: Madrid – Madrid Old Quarter and Royal Palace Walking Tour

Marvel at the rich history of Madrid on your private walking tour of Madrid’s historic center and the Royal Palace. Meet your licensed English-speaking guide at your hotel and set off together through the historic streets of Madrid. Discover the old quarter, the Barrio de la Moreria, and learn about the city’s Moorish roots then take in the Renaissance and Baroque buildings of the Habsburg era in Calle Mayor, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa. After our walking tour through Madrid old quarter visit the impressive Royal Palace, former residence of the Spanish Kings. The palace is adorned with the royal family’s exquisite collection of tapestries, porcelain, antique clocks, armor and artworks. Admire priceless paintings by Goya and Velazquez, as well as the official Reception Hall, the Royal Chapel, Hall of the Throne and the private room of King Carlos III and Queen Isabel II. (B)

> DAY 3:  Madrid

Enjoy a day of leisure soaking up the rich culture and vibrant atmosphere of Madrid or take an optional day trip to Toldedo, known as the city of three cultures, where Christians, Jews and Arabs lived together in harmony for centuries. Ask your Leisure Travel Consultant about their favorite sites and activities. (B)

> DAY 4: Madrid, Marbella

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport and board your flight to Malaga. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your luxury hotel in Marbella. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure. (B)

> DAY 5: Marbella

Enjoy a day at leisure relaxing by the seaside or exploring the town or Marbella. Ask your Leisure Travel Consultant about their favorite things to see. (B)

> DAY 6: Marbella – Full Day Sevilla Experience 

Set off for the city of Seville one of the most fascinating cities in Andulacia. It was founded as the Roman city of Hispalis, conquered by the Muslim in 712 and incorporated into the Christian Kingdom of Castile under Ferdinand III in 1248. Learn about the city’s captivating past through its most famous monument. Explore the Cathedral of Seville, an expression in stone of post-Reconquest confidence and wealth. Built on the site of a mosque, it is the third largest church in Europe and the largest Gothic building in Europe. It also boasts the largest altarpiece in the world. See the the Giralda, one of three remaining Almohad minarets in the world (the others are in Marrakesh and Rabat, Morocco). The beautiful structure became the bell tower of Seville Cathedral after the Reconquista and it dominates the city's skyline. A trip to Sevilla is not complete without exploring the breathtaking Royal Alcazar of Sevilla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (B)

> DAY 7: Marbella

Spend the day soaking up the local culture in Malaga and enjoy the services of your luxury resort or take an option tour Granada. The greatest monument in the city is the compound of the Alhambra and the Generalife, which tower over the city. The Generalife is a pleasure palace with attached romantic gardens, remarkable both for its location and layout, as well as for the diversity of its flowers, plants and fountains. The Alhambra is the architectural culmination of the works of Nasrid art that were undertaken in the 13th and 14th centuries, with most of the Alhambra having been built at the time of Yusuf I and Mohammed V, between 1333 and 1354. Next we head off to the Granada Cathedral which has a beautiful mix of Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Also not to be missed is the Granada Chapel, which houses the mortal remains of the King Ferdinand of Aragon and the Queen Isabella of Castile, Joanna and Philip the First and the Prince Michael who were the Catholic Kings that joined together Granada and Castile under one single monarchy. > DAY 8: Departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to Malaga Airport and take a flight to Madrid. The flight will be scheduled to meet your international departure. (B)
