His high-quality swords were praised throughout Europe during the Middle Ages, and you can still witness local craftsmen working steel to transform it into impressive swords, helmets, and more by visiting some work centers where they are still manufactured. The Cathedral of Toledo is considered the best expression of Gothic art in Spain. Starting in 1226, it was not until 1493 that the Catholic Kings completed their construction. The visit to its interior proves the richness of centuries of history and art of the Spanish Empire. The Church of San Tomé houses El Greco's famous painting "The Burial of the Count Orgaz", the masterpiece of the Greek genius who settled in Toledo and created a school in Spain with his unique art. The old Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca remains a symbol of the coexistence of the "Three Cultures": Architects of the Muslim religion carried out its construction, the most experienced of their time. Cheryl & Deborah, USA – Vacation: Barcelona & Madrid

Hi Nico,

Thanks for checking in with us about our trip. It was absolutely fabulous, and coming back to work has been extra painful given what a great time we had in Spain.

We were very pleased with all of the services. I think the highlights were the walking tour in Barcelona and the Hotel Hospes in Madrid. Our guide on the Barcelona walking tour was terrific, and you were 100% correct about the Hotel Hospes in Madrid. The people there were extremely friendly, and they bent over backward to make sure we had everything we needed, and to give us advice on where to eat, drink and be merry. The location of the hotel was perfect as well.

Deb still has all of our pictures trapped in the camera, but we'll be sure to send you a picture when we're able. We'll be in P-Town July 23rd to July 26th, and we'd love to meet you if you happen to be there at the same time.

Thank you again for all of the help you provided to ensure that our trip to Spain was enjoyable and memorable. You definitely succeeded!!

Cheryl
